Biography
American Olympic bobsledder, he was in the 2010 winter Olympics held in Vancouver, Canada. The dental student participated in the two-man and four-man events but did not capture any medals. Throughout his college years he established a university reputation for his performance in track and field events, particularly running the 100m and the long jump. As his interest developed in bobsledding, he competed and won a place on the World Cup circuit, and grabbed two medals at the event in 2008, his rookie year. Despite surgery later that year for a femoral bone spur and an sledding accident requiring 40 stitches on his knee, he bounced right back to his sport..
